Quel show! Epoustouflant!Amazing!

Side trips...to another island! While we were visiting friends in St-Emile, Quebec, we took the opportunity to drive to Ile d'Orleans...Marleyne's French ancestors are coming from this region from Quebec. It was a delghtful summer day by the time we crossed to the island! We had lunch on the bank of the St Lawrence River close to Ste Petronille...smoked salmon and port loin, baguette and rose. The good life, wherever we go, is becoming our motto now!

La belle ile d'Orleans..elle nous a charme! La terre de mes ancetres (Marleyne), malgre la venue du 21e siecle, nous replonge dans la vie d'antan. Cette petite rue de St-Jean reflete bien le charme de l'ile..presque un musee!

Summer is here, or is it? A month ago, we were still in Bequia, basquing in 28C air and water temperature. On most days, the weather has been reminiscent of early fall…but we are nevertheless enjoying our “new and temporary” life on Wolfe Island, Kingston, Canada.

With the house so close to the lake, we hear the waves splashing on the beach and we gaze at nature, as if we were sitting in the cockpit of La Buena Vida. We have wonderful sunsets and we can choose to go with the ferry to the “city” (Kingston) or not…
The time is passing by quickly, between visits with friends and diverse appointments, shopping for the coming cruising season (bathing suits!!!!) and other pleasurable activities. Upcoming in the first weeks of July: visit to friends in Crow Lake, Montreal and Quebec city!
