December 2016

December is always a special month...the boat is well wrapped waiting for the snowy weather to take over, we have more free time because all the garden and house chores are finished (such as the big project of the bay window!) , and there is Christmas and the holidays lurking around the corner...

Beginning of December, we went to Toronto for a couple of days. We wanted to visit some of the  exhibitions at the AGO, go to the REX, just feel the big city...some stops are always included such as coffee and cake at the Marché (Moevenpick)...

and Chinese dumplings on Spadina!

Toronto was festive...cold enough for the skaters around city hall!

The jazz at the Rex was a very moden type of jazz and we found it too loud ...our friend Desmond had joined us and we preferred to hit the streets of downtown and the Eaton centre !

We got a tasting of Hendricks gin and played organ...on cukes!

And then, it was Christmas! My sister Liette came to Kingston for a visit...we celebrated with good food, good drinks and a gift exchange! Liette was delighted with her Cuban gifts!

By December 28th, winter had set in...and we were leaving for Florida to celebrate the New Year with our friends Karen and Lindsay in Fort Myers and do some camping!
