Goethe might not have known the expression La Dolce Vita!

While residing in Europe we visited the North of the country in places like Venice, Trieste, Verona and the Como Lake: 30 years later, this voyage was going to bring us to Rome and the Lazio region, the Marches, Umbria and Toscana.  If Italy is a very small country compared to Canada, it has something to offer at about every 10 km!!! How exciting!
